Kathryn’s love for gardening began as a child, getting her hands dirty alongside her grandparents—avid gardeners themselves—and later tending her parents’ gardens in New Hampshire. After three years working in Champlain College’s Sustainability department and earning a degree in digital 3D art with a focus on environmental design, Kathryn discovered her true passion for working outdoors. She’s excited to combine her design expertise, experience in sustainability and sales, and deep love for nature into her work at Yellow Wood Gardens, creating beautiful, functional landscapes that reflect her values and vision.
sabine planelles

Sabine is a landscaper focused on creating biodiverse, sustainable, and beautiful outdoor spaces. With a degree in Forestry from UVM and a minor in Agro-Ecology, she combines expertise in plant biology, ecology, and regenerative agriculture to design landscapes that thrive ecologically, moving away from traditional lawns. Sabine tailors each project to her client’s unique goals, blending technical knowledge with a strong sense of aesthetics to create functional and environmentally responsible designs.
